This past weekend Rosetta, Primitive Weapons and Sannhet brought the dark, throat-ripping and melodic to Public Assembly. It was probably one of the earliest shows in Williamsburg that night, having to be wrapped up and emptied out by 11pm.
Rosetta's singer alternated between overly-polite gratitude to the crowd and shredding vocals, occasionally not even bothering to use the mic. During their set Primitive Weapons invited everyone to come see them open for Dillinger Escape Plan next door at Williamsburg Music Hall in a week, even though it's sold out. "Call us, we'll figure it out," he told the crowd.
