AS LESSONS LEARNED GO DOWN THE DRAIN

(on the Hudson with the Swimming Cities of Switchback Sea)

Still on the water, very little access to computers, internet, or even electricity. I'm a bit worse for wear, but holding together. Worst casualty has been a camera that went down due to too much water, working on a contingency plan now. Hope to have a bigger and better update in the near future. It's amazing how different a life you can lead just an hour outside of NYC. . .

  1. As the page loads I see the headline, beat, then the photo. Maybe that's someone else's back, but if not, great punchline. Sorry to hear about the camera. Did I tell you how my Super 8 camera of 8 years and 4 films committed suicide by breaking itself in half in my hand in falling into the ocean at the Mermaid Parade? I can only console myself with how poetic that was. I'm still working on a contingency plan.

    See you Monday.

  3. It was great getting to see the boats in Kingston. I'm really, really excited for Sept 7th. Showpaper kids'll be there, full-force.

  4. I love the boat project - except you should have started all the way up in Utica or so - check out the mohawk and go through some locks! Did you hit some locks in the Hudson? I've always wanted to do that - and I'm very jealous!

Love the Dauntless Elite too - great track. You have great taste in music.
