FEAR PRODUCES REGRET

(photos from the Tugboat Graveyard in Staten Island, more photos here)

I had an interesting experience last night, chatting with Poppa Neutrino, founder of the Floating Neutrinos (and subject of the recently published book The Happiest Man In The World). It's interesting how in discussing ways of living, viewing one's self, the functioning of groups, and determining your trifold can bring about a sudden tiny revelation like a pin prick of light dropping from someone's tongue.

  1. Hey, what kind of camera do you use? I really like the quality of your pictures.

  2. Thanks to a generous payout from a burglary covered by renter's insurance, I was able to upgrade to the Canon 5D. Which I highly recommend. Too bad I had to sacrifice my stolen medium format equipment to afford it.

  3. I live in bad neighborhood and have been hoping for a similar windfall because that's the only way I'd be able to afford such a camera.
