LETS MAKE LOVE AND LISTEN DEATH FROM ABOVE

Death From Above 1979, Japanther, and Matt & Kim. . . all together last night (with a few other bands) at weird Club Exit. thanks again to Todd P for a great show.

today i biked with some people to the boat graveyard in staten island. and then rode all the way back again (with a pit-stop for some great sri lankan food). it was amazing, even if i did cut my hand a few times, rip my jeans, and step on a rusty nail. climbing around on slowly decaying bleached-white wooden tugboats sitting quietly among rusting heaps and decrepit docks was a pretty great way to spend a beautiful fall day.

MP3:

this is from the forthcoming Death From Above 1979 remix album "Romance Bloody Romance." it's a cover of Le Peste's "Better Off Dead." and big surprise, it's really good. a few of the remixes on the album don't really seem to depart much from the original, but some others jazz it up quite a bit (not literally). i'm posting the other track because it makes me think "this is what it might sound like if The Postal Service covered DFA1979 (sort of)." yeah? no? either way it's pretty dope (yes i did just say that with a straight face).
